Rajpoura, Apr 23: World renowned Sufi Singer Kanwar Grewal enthralled the audience during 19th Annual cultural extravaganza “Roshaan” at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh. Mrs Shashi Prabha, (IPS) DGP (Railways), Punjab Police was the Chief Guest of the occasion. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group, presided over this event.
On the occasion, DSP Ghanaur, Neha Aggarwal; Former Justice, Sanjay Sachdeva, Additional Session Judge; Registrar, Punjab State Board of Technical Education (PSBTE), Chandigarh, Sanjeev Goyal; Ex Deputy Director DPI Colleges, S. Gurdarshan Singh; Chief Engineer, BSNL, Anil Goyal; Senior Engineer, PWD, Manpreet Dua, Director General, Aryans Group, Dr Parveen Kataria were special guests.
The DGP Railways Punjab expressed her delight upon witnessing the environment at Aryans Group, noting that the institution’s motto to excel in academics and innovation through “Edutainment” (education with entertainment) is commendable.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, while addressing the students, emphasized, “You should make your parents happy or make them proud not after their death, but while they are alive.” Aryans consistently conveys this message to its students, which is reflected in its events being named in honor of parents.
Kanwar Grewal who is known for his soulful voice performed on “Mast”, “Ticketan”, “Fakira”, “Zamaane”, “Yaar Madina”, ”Vaaz”, “Challa”, “Akhaan”, “Jogi” etc. Punjabi Actress Nisha Bano also performed on the occasion who was here for her upcoming song “Punjab Kaur” promotion. Dogri Singer Varsha Jamwal also mesmerized the audience on various song tracks.
It is to be mentioned that established in 2007, Aryans Group is running 8 different colleges including Engineering, Law, Management, Agriculture, Nursing, Pharmacy, Education, Physiotherapy etc.
