Srinagar, Apr 20: To mark the end of Ramadan and to continue with its old tradition, the students of the Aryans Group of Colleges hosted an Iftar party and a prayer at the Aryans campus.
The students of B.Tech, LL.B, BA-LL.B, MBA, Pharmacy, B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, ANM, Paramedical BBA, BCA, Polytechnic Diploma, etc of Aryans Group distributed free Iftar boxes containing dates, bananas and juice to the people on the occasion helping them break their fast.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group congratulated everyone on the occasion and said the students from 20 different states are studying in Aryans and pursuing their higher education. He said Aryans celebrates every festival with students enthusiastically with staff and management at the campus.
Asma and Nazira, the coordinators, Aryans Institute of Nursing, said that Ramadan is a sacred month in Islam and a time for Muslims to revitalize their identity, come closer to God and be better people. “The Iftar is their second meal of the day; the daily fast during Ramadan begins immediately after the pre-dawn meal of suhur and continues during the daylight hours, ending with sunset with the evening meal of Iftar,” they said.
On the occasion, Bazila, Shabnam, Ishrat, Er Mudasir Ahmad Sheikh, Er Jahangir Rashid, Er Shahid Lone, Er Rayees Ahmad, Er Mehran Wani, Shahid Bashir, Abrar Ahmad, Amir Akbar, Shakir Ahmad, Aadil Farooq were present, the Aryans said.
