Baramulla, Oct 10: Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Muazzam Ali spearheaded a rigorous enforcement campaign to tackle traffic violations across various locations in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
During this operation, 17 violators received show cause notices, and their driving licences and registration certificates may face suspension. Notably, 11 driving licences from individuals who had previously received show cause notices were suspended following this drive.
The ARTO Baramulla targeted numerous passenger vehicles that lacked essential safety features. Warnings were issued for traffic rule violations, emphasising the importance of adhering to regulations.
In addition to penalties, Muazzam Ali educated the public about their responsibilities in following traffic norms and road safety rules. he stressed the significance of cautious driving, avoiding speeding, wearing seat belts, refraining from mobile phone use, and strictly adhering to all traffic regulations for a safer road environment.
