Budgam, Oct 10: The district administration of Budgam has finalized all preparations for the annual Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-Noorani in the Charar-i-Sharief area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Akshay Labroo, Deputy Commissioner of Budgam, told Rising Kashmir that all necessary arrangements have been made available for the devotees which are coming from the various parts of the Kashmir valley to celebrate the annual urs of Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-Noorani.
“All departments have already been assigned their respective duties. All the necessary arrangements and facilities have already made available which include electricity, water, medical services, sanitation, and transportation, have been made in the area,” Labroo stated.
He further said that street lights have been installed and additional parking spaces have been made available for vehicles. Proper medical facilities, including wheelchairs for specially-abled devotees, will be provided during the Urs days.
“Medical camps will also be operational within the shrine premises during the urs days. Traffic facilities will be available for devotees from various routes, and the traffic police and ARTO Budgam have completed all necessary arrangements to ensure smooth traffic movement during these days,” DC Budgam said.
