After BJY, Congress to start ‘Haath se Haath Jodo’ program in JK today

Jammu, Mar 04: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) is going to start a mass contact-cum-awareness programme under ‘Haath se Haath Jodo’ to make people aware about the ‘failure of BJP government’ in controlling inflation, rising unemployment, besides making the people aware about the achievements of the UPA Government.
“The mass contact programme will start tomorrow from Jammu,” JKPCC President Vikar Rasool informed Rising Kashmir adding, “this programme starting from tomorrow onwards will be held simultaneously in all the districts of Jammu region”.
The month-long mass contact programme named ‘Haath Se Haath Jodo’ was chalked out by the Congress high command during the party’s 85th plenary session which was just recently held at Chattisgarh, JKPCC Spokesman Ravinder Sharma told Rising Kashmir.
This mass contact-cum-awareness programme of the Congress Party will be started by the party simultaneously in all the districts of Kashmir region from 7th of this month.
Nukkad meetings, small public rallies, door to door approach to reach out to the people, holding protests wherever necessary etc will be held during the month long agitational-cum-awareness programme across the length and breadth of J&K UT, the JKPCC President said adding, “We will make the people aware about the failures of BJP government in curbing price rise, rising unemployment, imposing unnecessary property tax, its anti-people policies besides other issues concerning common masses”.
The Congress Party will also make the people aware about the achievements of the Congress led UPA Government, the JKPCC President further informed.
“We will also make the people aware about the future programmes and policies of the Congress Party during this month-long programme in J&K,” the JKPCC President said.
Senior Congress leader Bharat Singh Solanki, who is also In-charge of ‘Haath Se Haath Jodo’ programme, will be present at Jammu to start the month-long programme of the party.
