ADGP Armed J&K visits IRP-23rd Battalion Hqs at Lethpora

Pulwma, May 29: Anand Jain IPS  ADGP Armed  J&K visited IRP-23rd Battalion Headquarters at Lethpora Pulwama on Wednesday to review operational preparedness, infrastructure, and the welfare of personnel.

The visiting officer Anand Jain was warmly received by Baqar Samoon IPS Commandant IRP-23rd Battalion  along with other senior officers and staff members. The visit included briefings on unit performance, security readiness, training programs, logistical support, and ongoing initiatives to improve efficiency and personnel welfare.

During the visit, the senior officers interacted with the unit’s officers and staff, appreciated their professionalism and dedication, and emphasized the importance of discipline, coordination, and operational excellence. Worthy ADGP Armed paid visit to the under construction premises of Battalion Headquarters IRP-23rd Battalion. All the erected/ under-construction Structures were thoroughly inspected. Inauguration of Cluster Stores/warehouse (Build on Self Help basis by the unit) was undertaken at the hands of Worthy ADGP Armed in presence of Sh Junaid Mehmood –IPS DIG IRP Kashmir, Sh Tanveer Jeelani JKPS Principal CTC Lethpora, Sh Muneer Ahmad JKPS SSP APCR Kashmir,Sh Tariq Ahmad SP Dy Commandant/Sh Gh Hassan SP Dy Commandant IRP-23rd Battalion. .

In his address to the officers and personnel,  Anand Jain highlighted the organization’s expectations and reaffirmed the leadership’s commitment to supporting field units. The officers expressed satisfaction over the preparedness and morale of the unit and issued directions for further improvement wherever necessary.
