Jammu, April 08: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Armed, Anand Jain Tuesday flagged off the J&K Police Badminton and Table Tennis teams at a send-off ceremony held at the GO’s Mess, Gulshan Ground, Jammu.
The teams will represent J&K Police at the All-India Police Sports Meet, taking place in Cochin, Kerala, from April 9 to 15. Extending his best wishes, the ADGP expressed confidence that the teams would continue their tradition of excellence and bring accolades to the force. He highlighted the vital role of sports in character-building and described sportspersons as ambassadors of peace and harmony.
On the occasion, the ADGP also handed over sports kits to all participants, encouraging them to perform with dedication and sportsmanship.
