Anantnag, May 22: Sapna Kotwal, Secretary of the J&K Advisory Board for Development of Pahari Speaking People, conducted an intensive tour of Anantnag to review the functioning of the Boys Pahari Hostel.
During her inspection, Kotwal expressed her satisfaction with the hostel’s operations, which are monitored by the District Social Welfare Officer, Anantnag. The staff provided detailed insights into the hostel’s functioning, highlighting that the Boys Pahari Hostel in Anantnag is well-administered. Students are receiving healthy nutrition and have access to various recreational facilities provided by the J&K PSP Board.
Sapna noted that the students were not only intellectually capable but also well-versed in basic education, benefiting from a healthy and conducive environment. She encouraged the adoption of innovative methods to make the students more dynamic. Kotwal committed to forwarding a proposal for the construction of a new hostel building to further enhance the facilities.
During her visit, the Secretary was accompanied by Farooq Ahmad, Tehsil Social Welfare Officer, Anantnag and other staff members.
