DC Kulgam finalises preparations for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting of Officers to finalise the preparations for smooth conduct of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) in the district.

The DC directed the Officers to ensure maximum public participation in VBSY, which is aimed to raise awareness about the Government’s schemes, reaching out to the unreached population, registering new beneficiaries, besides taking feedback from beneficiaries.

It was informed by Nodal officers entrusted with the Yatra arrangements, that all arrangements have been put in place to make the Yatra impactful.

It was also informed that the district administration has prepared a comprehensive schedule to cover all blocks and urban areas.

Dr Bilal called for effective coordination among the departments for the successful conduct of Yatra

Yatra shall start from November 25 in the district till its culmination on December 16.

The meeting was attended by ADDC, Showkat Ahmad Rather; ADC, Vikar Ahmad Giri; district officers and other concerned.
