Ganderbal, Apr 18: Casual laborers affiliated with the Sonamarg Development Authority (SDA) voiced their grievances against the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on Thursday. The laborers, led by President Mushtaq Ah, have called for the immediate transfer of the CEO amidst allegations of misbehaviour and misconduct.
President Mushtaq Ah emphasized the seriousness of the situation, accusing the CEO of subjecting them to mental anguish. The accusations have sparked outrage among the labor force, prompting a public outcry for justice.
Mushtaq Ahmad highlighted the CEO’s alleged mistreatment, stating that despite their decade-long dedication to their duties within the SDA, they have faced humiliation at the hands of the CEO.
Responding to the allegations, CEO Farooq Baba expressed dissatisfaction with the laborers’ performance, citing their failure to meet expectations despite his repeated calls for improvement.
The protest signifies a significant challenge within the Sonamarg Development Authority, with laborers demanding accountability and a change in leadership to address their concerns.
