Replying to a question on PM’s visit in Udhampur General Secretary Organisation JKPDP Dr Mehboob Beig has said that BJP has derailed the identity and status of State of Jammu & Kashmir by converted it into two union territories in 2019 . since then instead of witnessing comprehensive development Jammu and Kashmir has been totally pushed into an atmosphere of political uncertainty which resulted in loss of its identity , right over jobs , opportunities of trade, transport and business.

According to a statement issued to KNS, he said that the rising corruption and scams have exposed BJP ‘s tall claims except politics of hate and division. He said that PM also need to answer why people of J&K have been kept away from choosing their assembly since 2019.

While replying on NC’s decision Dr Mehboob Baig said that while it is their own party matter but it was a great opportunity and will of the people of Jammu & Kashmir for unified electoral resistance against BJP which was need of the hour for the collective cause of Jammu and Kashmir’s identity and dignity to strengthen the region’s voice against ongoing oppression from BJP. But it is worth regrettable a unilateral decision of NC which opted to go alone too had disappointed larger section of society of Jammu & Kashmir and now had left no space for us too to proceed independently to represent the aspirations of people of J&K , despite facing personal and political targeting.(KNS)
