SMVDU students visit Microsoft Office in Gurugram

Jammu, Dec 7: Microsoft, Gurugram hosted a technical session for students of Engineering of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University. 
The event was conducted by Sarthak Jain, Head of Community Rekill, and Microsoft Employees which provided sixty students with an opportunity to explore the latest technologies and get hands-on experience. 
Microsoft employees provided students an in-depth understanding of the industry, the latest trends and best practices. The students were also visited Microsoft Office and interacted with the employees. The students gained industry knowledge and explored the possibilities of internships and job opportunities. They were also provided with the $100 Credits of Microsoft Azure and Goodies each.
The trip was organized by Dr. Manish Sabraj (Head, SoECE), coordinated by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Sharma (Assistant Professor, SoCSE ). Also, student coordinators: Jatin Sharma, Sudeep Kumar, Aman Raj, Aman Kumar, Ritik Sharma, Nischay, and Rithik Kasera helped to make this event a success. “This trip would help students learn beyond the boundaries of books,” the university said.
