Bandipora, Oct 17: Director Rural Development Department Imam u Din on Monday said that to create an impression of self-employment among youth has been deparment’s main priority.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of his visit to Sumbal Bandipora, Imam said that in the fourth phase of back to the village, RDD department will identify youth to provide them the opportunity of self-employment.
He said that the youth who wish to go for self-employment can share sustainable ideas and they would be given every possible assistance.
He said that self-employment will not only provide employment to one person but can create employment to others persons as well.
Notably Imam Din visited Nesbal and Chandrahgeer Panchayats of Bandipora and reviewed ongoing devlopmental works and held public Darbaar during the visit.
Expressing happiness Imam hailed the local sarpanch Rather Mehraj and said that he has done many developmental works on Panchayat basis which are exemplary and admirable.
During Public Darbar Imam was apprised about various issues in the area and he assured that every grievance will be redressed.
