B2V4 activities held across 68 Panchayats of Kathua district on day 2

Kathua, Oct 29: The Day 2 of the first round of 4th Phase of the ambitious Back to Village Program on Saturday witnessed multifarious activities across 68 panchayats of district Kathua.
The visiting officers convened meetings with all stakeholders viz officials of Government departments, frontline workers and panchayat members to take feedback on the local issues and developmental requirements. The Visiting Officers deliberated upon Village Development Plans in consultation with gram panchayats.
They laid stress on 100 percent saturation of golden health cards under AB-PMJAY, full coverage under old age pension scheme, issuance of domicile certificates, KCCs, land passbooks etc.
Inaugurations of Village Haats under JKRLM, distribution of loan under self employment, felicitation of school under talent hunt programme etc were the highlights of the day.
The visiting officers inspected ongoing developmental works, government schools, PMAY Houses, Anganwari centres etc. They listened to the grievances projected during the meetings and documented the same and assured that all the demands and issues shall be redressed in a phased manner.
The visiting officers, accompanied by PRI members of the Panchayats, inaugurated a number of works including those completed under the languishing scheme, 14 FC, MGNREGA, B2V3 etc. 
Foundation stone of toilet complexes, Inauguration of water tanks, roads,   Issuance of Land passbooks to the owners, Conduct of Plantation drive in different Panchayats and sports activities also formed the part of daylong activities.
Pertinently, the round second of B2V4 will commence from tomorrow in 66 panchayats of Bhoond, NagrotaGujjroo, Lohai-Malhar, Duggain, Mandli, Billawar and Baggan blocks.
