Pedestrian killed in B’la road accident

Baramulla, Dec 30: A pedestrian was killed when a speedy vehicle hit him in Kunzer Tangmarg area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, on Friday evening.
A police official said that a pedestrian was killed after being hit by a speedy Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK05C-6672 in Kunzer area of Tangmarg.
“The deceased had received critical injuries and was shifted from the spot to PHC Kunzer, where the doctors declared him dead on arrival,” he added.
The police official identified the deceased as Tawseef Ahmad Khan, son of Ghulam Ahmad Khan, a resident of Tarhama village of Kunzer in Baramulla.
Police said that the driver involved in the accident was arrested and his vehicle has been seized.
