Ingredients used
• Nishasta (150 gram)
• Water (1 1/2 glass)
• Sugar (1/2 cup)
• Ghee (1/4 cup)
• Saffron (3 pinches)
• Almonds, cashew nuts (as per your choice)
Preparation
In a bowl, add Nishata and water to make a smooth paste.Now add sugar and mix well again. Heat the ghee in a pan. Add Nishasta paste, keep stirring and cook on low flame until it thickens and colour changes little dark brown and ghee starts to ooze out of the mixture. Add cardamom powder and dry fruits.
The tasty Nishaste ka halwa is ready to eat and is best for back pain and bone health.
