Jammu, Sep 29: A delegation of the AP Wednesday called on the Director General Youth Services and Sports (YSS) to highlight various issues before him.
A statement from the party said that the delegation was led by the Provincial President / Jammu District Urban, President Dr Rohit Gupta, State General Secretary Youth Wing, AbhayBakaya, Vice President Youth Wing Joginder Singh, Sandeep Vaid and others.
The delegation highlighted various issues related to the youth and promotion of sports, playing fields, sports infrastructure, village level talent, coaching, tournaments, and other issues.
Dr Rohit Gupta said that the youth are indulging in drug peddling and drug addiction and in these circumstances; there is a dire need to put the youth on the right track by providing them ample sports related facilities.
Similarly, AbhayBakaya also highlighted issues of the young generation while seeking upgradation of the sports infrastructure and training of coaches to impart better physical training at the school level to the students.
On hearing them, the Director General Youth Services and Sports assured them that he would work to redress the issues being highlighted by the Apni Party delegation.
