Kargil, Jan 28: Kargil police on Saturday claimed to have has solved a burglary case with the arrest of one accused.
In a tweet, Kargil Police said that on December 20, 2022 Police Station Zanskar received a written compliant from one person namely Stanzin Sangdup S/o Sonam Stagat R/o Atting Zanskar stating therein that during the intervening night of December 29 and 30 some unknown person had entered his shop at Maney Ringmo Padum by breaking the wall and taken away two mobile phones from his shop.
They said a case under FIR No.14/2022 u/s 457,380 IPC was registered at the P/S Zanskar and investigation was set into motion.
During the course of investigation Police accused Stanzin Wangchok S/o Stanzin Namgial R/o Kumik Zanskar and recovered the stolen mobile phones worth Rs 39000 from his possession.
Kargil Police has appealed to general public to report such incidents happening in their area so that culprits are booked under law.
