CUK’s Edu deptt holds cleanliness drive

Ganderbal, Feb 16: Department of Education, Central University of Kashmir (CUK), organized a cleanliness drive, at varsity’s Tumullah campus here.
Dean and Head, School of Education, Prof. Syed Zahoor Ahmad Geelani, Sr Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sayid Bhat, Mr. Dinesh Kumar, Coordinator, Education and other faculty members participated in the drive which was also attended by research scholars and students of M A Education and PGDGC programmes.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Syed Zahoor Ahmad Geelani, highlighted the importance of cleanliness and hygiene at places be that at home, institution or even the playfields. He quoted National Education Policy 2020 and highlighted the 360 evaluation. The students were informed about the importance of hygiene in religion, society and spiritual aspects. Thereafter, all the participants removed the waste material from the campus compound. The drive ended on a note “cleanliness is not a one-day activity, let us embrace it as a part of our lifestyle”.
