Jammu, March 31: Apni Party Provincial President Jammu and Former Minister, S. Manjit Singh has paid rich tributes to the martyr, Vipan Kumar at his village Radwan in Ramgarh.
According to a party statement, Manjit Singh was accompanied by Adv Sahil Bharti, District President Legal Cell, Samba, Bachan choudhary block president Ramgarh ,Mangat Ram, District Youth President Samba and other prominent people.
Addressing the gathering after offering floral tribute to the martyr of Operation Parakram, 2002, the former minister remembered the young soldier for his supreme sacrifice.
He said that the martyr soldier was a brave heart whose sacrifice will not be wasted. He said that the Govt should organise programs to remember the martyrs and include their contribution in the school curriculum.
Singh said that future generations must remember the soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation and its security.
The party leader said that martyr day reminds us of the importance of our soldiers and we shall not forget them.
