Efforts intensifed in Rajouri to eradicate terror networks: DIG RP Range

Srinagar, July 15: Rajouri: In a bid to bolster the ongoing anti-terrorist operations and oversee the efficiency of the intelligence network in Rajouri and Poonch Districts, a comprehensive Intelligence and Security review conference was recently chaired by DIG RP Range, Dr. Mohd. Haseeb Mughal, IPS. The conference took place at the Conference Hall, District Police Lines (DPL) in Rajouri.
The conference witnessed the attendance of several key officials involved in maintaining the region’s security. Among the notable attendees were Amritpal Singh, IPS, SSP Rajouri, Vinay Sharma, JKPS, SSP Poonch, Vivek Shekhar, JKPS, ASP HQ Rajouri, Md. Rafi Giri, JKPS, ASP Nowshera, Sh. Shafiq, JKPS, DySP DAR Poonch, Aijaz Ahmad, DySP PC Poonch, Sheezan Bhatt, JKPS, SDPO Mendhar, Zafar Nawaz, JKPS, SDPO Manjakote, Imtiyaz Ahmad, JKPS, SDPO Thanamandi, Tussif Ahmad, JKPS, SDPO Nowshera, Mudassir Choudhary, JKPS, DySP Hqrs Rajouri, Shivender Singh, JKPS, DySP PC Rajouri, and Parupkar Singh, JKPS, DySP DAR Rajouri.
During the conference, in-depth discussions were held on various crucial security matters, including internal security, terrorism, preparations for the upcoming Muharram, Independence Day, Shri Buddha Amarnathji Yatra, National Highway deployments, and a review of the Vigilance and Detection Guards (VDGs), as well as Personal Security Officers (PSOs). The attending officers presented detailed reports on their respective field intelligence networks, existing security deployments, and the steps being taken to dismantle terror networks operating within their areas of responsibility.
Emphasizing the need for a relentless pursuit of eradicating terror networks, DIG RP Range urged the officers to adopt innovative mechanisms for intelligence collection and analysis, in addition to strengthening human contacts. He stressed the importance of maintaining a high level of vigilance and operational preparedness to effectively tackle any potential challenges or untoward incidents.
