Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday said to have arrested a Photo Journalist with 12 grams of contraband Brown Sugar like substances at Kanispora area of Baramulla district.
A spokesperson said that Police under the supervision of Sajjad Bukhari-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Baramulla assisted by PSI Rayees Ahmad, IC PP Delina arrested Photo Journalist namely Inayat Qayoom Baidar R/O Khawajabagh Baramulla* during naka checking at Kanispora who was coming from Baramulla towards Delina on Motor Cycle bearing registration number JK05J-2513 and upon seeing the naka party he tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully.
“During his personal search 12 grams of contraband Brown Sugar like substances was recovered from him and was taken into custody immediately and the Motor Cycle was also seized at spot.”
Police said that case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Baramulla and investigations set in motion.
