From an admirer I have now become a follower of LG: Jagdeep Dhankar

JAMMU, June 22: Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankar, praised Lieutenant Governor UT Manoj Sinha on Thursday, saying that he (VP) has become a follower of LG due to his tireless efforts for the successful conduct of the G-20 summit as well as the overall development of J&K.
“I used to be his (LG’s) admirer, but now I’m his follower,” Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankar said today at the Jammu University Convocation at General Zorwar Singh Auditorium.
The LG has the quality and vision to ensure the overall growth of society, he said, adding that “We must congratulate the LG of J&K on the successful conduct of the G-20 summit in Srinagar, where delegates/leaders from various countries came here.”
The successful conduct of G-20 is a matter of pride for we all the Indians, Jagdeep Dhankar said adding, “The event was so successful that even the international media carried it”. This indeed is a proud moment for us, he said.
“The delegates/leaders visited J&K and relished every second of G-20,” the Vice President said and reiterated, “The LG must be congratulated for successful conduct of G-20 summit”.
The Vice President added that successful G-20 has improved India’s image and prestige in the world. “Now, the world waits what the leader of world’s largest democracy would say at a particular forum,” Jagdeep Dhankar said.
