Mohammad Qais clinches victory in U-14 Lawn Tennis Championship at Srinagar Open 2023

Srinagar, Oct 23: In an electrifying display of tennis prowess, Mohammad Qais emerged as the champion in the U-14 category of the Srinagar Open 2023 Lawn Tennis Championship, a tournament organized by the District Lawn Tennis Association Srinagar in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Lawn Tennis Association. The event was held under the auspices of the J&K Sports Council from October 21 to 23, 2023.
The young tennis prodigy, Mohammad Qais, showcased remarkable skills, determination, and sportsmanship, securing a well-deserved victory in the fiercely competitive championship. The U-14 category witnessed some of the most promising young talents in the region, and Mohammad Qais’s journey to the title was nothing short of inspirational.
Jaghee, the Secretary General of the J&K Lawn Tennis Association, had the honor of presenting the championship trophy to Mohammad Qais. The award ceremony was a moment of pride and jubilation as Qais accepted the trophy amidst cheers and applause from the spectators and fellow competitors.
This championship marked a significant step forward in promoting tennis at the grassroots level in the region, fostering young talent, and encouraging the spirit of healthy competition. It also highlighted the collaborative efforts of the District Lawn Tennis Association Srinagar and the J&K Lawn Tennis Association, working in conjunction with the J&K Sports Council to provide a platform for budding tennis stars.
