India’s youth key to shaping the 21st century: LG

JAMMU, Sep 11- In a momentous gathering organized by the Amar Ujala Group, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha addressed the Medhavi Chhatra Samman Samaroh in Jammu today, extending his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the high-achieving students of classes 10th and 12th who received this year’s prestigious awards.
During his speech, the Lieutenant Governor urged the youth to embrace readiness for the future and prepare themselves for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. He emphasized the historic significance of the G20 New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, declaring India as the beacon of hope for the world. He encouraged the young generation to seize this opportunity and strive to make the 21st Century “India’s Century.”
Lieutenant Governor commended the girl students for their outstanding performance, surpassing their male counterparts in the award tally. He expressed confidence that with their dedication and determination, these young women will become trailblazers, driving future economic growth and prosperity in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Lt. Governor Sinha underscored the crucial importance of transforming educational institutions into hubs of innovation, ideas, and lifelong learning. He stressed the significance of a student-centric and outcome-based education system, which empowers the younger generation with the skills needed to succeed in a dynamic world.
Addressing the teaching community, the Lt. Governor encouraged them to inspire their students to discover their inner potential and nurture their individuality. He stated that teachers play a pivotal role in stimulating the unique strengths of students, fostering creativity, problem-solving abilities, and preparing them for future opportunities that benefit humanity.
The event was graced by the presence of various dignitaries, including Rajinder Sharma, Mayor of JMC; Bharat Bhushan, Chairman of District Development Council, Jammu; Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu; Vice Chancellors of several universities; Editors and members of Amar Ujala Group; public representatives; and a gathering of teachers, students, and parents.
