Reasi, Aug 12: To strengthen youth empowerment and entrepreneurship, Deputy Commissioner Reasi Nidhi Malik today chaired the District Level Implementation Committee meeting to review and approve cases under the Mission YUVA scheme.According to a statement issued here, the committee held detailed discussions on applications received through the Skill and Business Development Unit. After thorough scrutiny and evaluation, the committee headed by the Deputy Commissioner approved 252 cases for financial assistance and institutional support under the initiative.The DC highlighted the importance of Mission YUVA in providing skill development, promoting entrepreneurship and creating self-employment opportunities for the district’s youth. She emphasised the need for robust post-approval support and regular follow-up to ensure the sustainable success of approved ventures.She further stressed coordinated efforts among departments to maximise the scheme’s outreach and effectiveness.Banks were also directed to ensure fast processing and disbursement of cases.
