Shopian / Kupwara, Jan 29: A mega programme was today organised by Chief Education Officer Shopian at DIET Shopian in view of the screening of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s annual ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme.
Students, teachers and parents watched the said programme with full enthusiasm and fervour.
The said programme was organised in all the schools of District Shopian where in Headmasters, Principals along with students and staff watched the programme.
The seventh edition of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ was live telecasted on Doordarshan, You tube channel of MoE, Facebook Live and on TV in all Govt as well as Private Schools across the District Shopian in which Prime Minister, Narendra Modi held interaction with students, teachers and parents.
He discussed how to beat examination stress and shared the tips to do better in exams as well as in life.
The Prime Minister also spoke about the significance of the new National Education Policy-2020, among other important issues related to academics.
‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ is part of the larger movement – ‘Exam Warriors’ to create a stress-free atmosphere for youngsters.
During the pre-programme talk, Addl. Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Dr Zakir Hussain addressed the students, teachers and parents and highlighted the importance of the event and essence of adopting the advice, an experience of elders for a successful life. The programme received an overwhelming response from the students.
Meanwhile, the much- awaited interaction ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ by PM Narendra Modi was watched by thousands of students across various schools of frontier Kupwara district on Monday.
To encourage and inspire the students, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan also joined them at Government Higher Secondary School Kupwara and watched the live telecast of ‘Pariksha pe Charcha’ along with students, parents, teachers and officers of District Administration Kupwara.
For the telecast of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ today at different government schools in frontier Kupwara district, the Education department in collaboration with district administration had made elaborate arrangements.
Telecast was shown to the students through TV screens installed in the schools, e- class rooms and computer labs where thousands of students and other participants watched the live telecast.
Students on the occasion said that the discussion and references by the PM during the program proved helpful and meaningful in removing the exam related stress and frustration, and has significantly increased their confidence.
