KU extends eligibility deadline for admission to Aug 8

Srinagar, Aug 07: The University of Kashmir has announced an extension of the deadline for meeting academic eligibility requirements until 8th August for all eligible candidates of the University.Prof. Fayaz Ahmad, the Director of Admissions and Competitive Exams, said the deadline for fulfilling academic eligibility has been extended to August 8, 2025, 3 PM.”Candidates who do not establish their eligibility by this date and time will not be included in the Merit List and will not be considered for any selection,” he said.Prof Fayaz said the final date for completing admission procedures for the first selection lists, which will be issued by the University on August 03, will remain August 08.”The deadline for submitting online applications, along with a fee of Rs 500 for admission under the Self Finance Quota, is 10th August 2025 at 3 PM,” he informed.The Director Admissions said any provisionally selected candidate who fails to complete the admission formalities by the scheduled date will lose their right to admission and will not be granted a second opportunity until other candidates are available.
