Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the tragic demise of 2011 Batch KAS officer Rajinder Singh Rana, who lost his life in a fatal accident caused by a landslide in Reasi district while travelling with his family.
He also conveyed his deepest condolences on the demise of officer’s son, who also succumbed to his injuries, adding to the gravity of the tragedy.
In his condolence message, the Minister described the late officer as an upright, dedicated, and efficient civil servant who served the people with integrity and commitment.
He noted that Rajinder Singh Rana’s untimely passing is a great loss not only to his family and colleagues, but also to the administrative fraternity and the public he diligently served.
The Minister also expressed concern and sympathy for the officer’s family members, who sustained injuries in the incident.
Extending his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the Minister prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls and strength to the injured.
He expressed solidarity with the grieving family during this hour of immense pain and prayed for their courage to bear this irreparable loss.
