Srinagar, Jul 22: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and DDC Member Srinagar, Er Aijaz Hussain, on Tuesday convened a crucial meeting with the sector in charges of Lal Chowk Assembly Constituency to review ongoing organisational activities and chalk out a robust plan for strengthening the party’s presence at the grassroots level.Addressing the meeting, Er Hussain emphasised the paramount importance of booth-level management, saying that booth committees are the backbone of any successful political strategy. He urged all sector in charges to expedite the process of forming booth committees in every ward and mohalla of the constituency, ensuring representation of dedicated and credible workers who can connect directly with the people.The BJP leader set a clear deadline for submission of finalised booth committees, underlining that timely completion of this exercise will create a strong foundation for the upcoming Urban Local Body and Panchayat elections. “Booth committees shall not only mobilise voters but must also act as a vital channel for disseminating the party’s development narrative and welfare initiatives,” he said.Er Hussain added, “Our strength lies in our booth. If we strengthen the booth, we strengthen the constituency. Every worker must reach out to the last voter, understand their concerns, and build confidence in the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji for a developed Jammu & Kashmir.”During the meeting, sector in charges shared feedback from their respective areas and discussed challenges in organisational expansion. Er Aijaz assured them of full support and resources to make the exercise effective and result-oriented.The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to intensify grassroots engagement, conduct door-to-door outreach, and ensure the party’s ideological and developmental message reaches every household in Lal Chowk constituency.
