Deputy Commissioner, Harvinder Singh today reviewed the working of Rural Development and Revenue Departments, here at a meeting attended by key functionaries including the newly posted officers in the recent Administrative reshuffle by the government.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Pran Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sudershan Kumar, DPO ICDS Paramjeet Singh, ACR Sanjeev Kumar, ACD Manoj Kumar, ACP Musharaf Haff, SDMs, Tehsildars, and BDOs attended the meeting.
The DC exhorted the Revenue and RDD officers to prepare an action plan for combating illegal mining, drug abuse, bovine smuggling, encroachment of government land and other illegal, anti-social and anti-peace activities.
The DC urged the officers to put in synchronised efforts to meet the expectations of the common man, while keeping a close eye on the troublemakers.
