The development of this novel system holds immense potential for the fabric and textile testing industry, enhancing both precision and efficiency in wear measurement analysis,” they said.Congratulating the team, Director NIT Srinagar, Prof. Binod Kumar Kanaujia, described the patent as a proud moment for the institute. “This achievement reflects the high-quality research being undertaken at NIT Srinagar. The development of a dedicated wear measurement system for the textile industry is a fine example of how academic innovation can solve real-world industrial challenges,” he said. Prof. Kanaujia added that the innovation not only enhances the institute’s academic standing but also opens up new avenues for national and international research collaborations and industrial partnerships.  “We believe this system has the potential for commercialization and industry impact,” he said.
