Srinagar, Nov 03: In a significant development, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir announced a recent administrative reshuffle with the transfer and posting of two senior police officials.
As per the order, Rajeshwar Singh, an IPS officer, has been appointed as the new Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) at the CID Headquarters in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the official order, Singh will take on this role as an interim appointment, acting in place of Dawood Ayoub, who previously held the position.
Concurrently, Dawood Ayoub, who served as the Superintendent of Police at the CID Headquarters in J&K, has been reassigned to the role of Superintendent of Police in Handwara. This move relieves Yougal Kumar, the current SP of Kupwara, of the additional charge he was handling.
