Srinagar, June 14: A proud moment for the sports fraternity of Jammu and Kashmir, as ten officials from the Union Territory have successfully qualified the Referee Course Examination conducted by the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, in May.
The successful candidates are—Arshid Rather, Firdous Rather, Nahida Nabi, Ram Kumar, Gourav Dubai, Mir Alam, Majid Khan, Nuzarat Hussain, Tanveer Iqbal, and Anita Sharma.
Their achievement represents a significant stride toward enhancing the standard of officiating and strengthening technical expertise in Kabaddi across the region. This accomplishment not only reflects the growing enthusiasm for Kabaddi in Jammu and Kashmir but also underscores the unwavering commitment of local talent to excel on the national stage. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary, and Anil Kumar, President of the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association, extended heartfelt congratulations to all the qualified referees for their dedication, hard work, and success.
