Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today extended a warm send-off to the first batch of 178 Hajj pilgrims departing from Sheikh-ul-Alam International Airport, Srinagar.
In a heartfelt gesture, the Chief Minister conveyed his best wishes to the pilgrims, hoping for a safe and spiritually enriching journey.
Speaking on the occasion, Abdullah expressed his gratitude for being part of the farewell and humbly requested the pilgrims to pray for lasting peace and prosperity in the region.
The departure marks the beginning of this year’s Hajj pilgrimage season from Jammu and Kashmir, with more batches expected to follow in the coming days
