An old rusted shell was recovered and subsequently destroyed by security forces in Balnoi area of Poonch district on Friday.
Officials said that some locals found old rusted shell in the land of one namely Mohammad Rafiq resident of Balnoi today.
Soon a team of police and army reached to the spot and subsequently summoned Bomb Disposal Squad.
The BDS with utmost care destroyed the old shell without causing any damage, they said.(GNS)
