Bandipora, Feb 26: In a move to curb activities deemed detrimental to national security, Bandipora Police has booked three individuals under the Public Safety Act (PSA).
An official told Rising Kashmir that the three individuals namely Sheikh Danish Mushtaq of Aloosa Bandipora, Ghulam Mohammad Waza of Bagh Bandipora and Mohammad Amin Rather Ajas Bandipora have been actively involved in anti-national activities, posing a threat to the security and integrity of the nation.
He said that the accused have been transferred to Central Jail Kot Bhalwal in Jammu. The application of the PSA is a preventive measure to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
The Bandipora Police will continue to monitor and take stringent actions against those involved in activities that go against the interests of the nation, he added.
