Srinagar, Feb 05: Security forces on Wednesday claimed to have recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from the forests of Anganpathri in the Uri sector of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to reports, joint team of police and the army launched a search operation in the area and discovered the weapons hidden inside a hollow tree covered with a blanket.
The recovered arms and ammunition include three AK-47 rifles, eleven AK magazines, 292 rounds of AK ammunition, one Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL), nine UBGL grenades, and two hand grenades.
