J&K DGP conducts operational review and visits forward operating bases in Doda

Director General of Police J&K, Nalin Prabhat , accompanied by ADGP Jammu Zone, Anand Jain; DIG DKR Range, Shridhar Patil and SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta visited FOBs in Doda . Senior officers from the Army ,SSB and CRPF also participated during this strategic visit, reflecting a unified approach towards maintaining peace and stability in the region.

The visit included a comprehensive operational review of the security situation in the district. The DGP and senior officers assessed the deployment and operational readiness, particularly in the sensitive regions of Gandoh and Bhaderwah, which have been focal points for security concerns due to the challenging terrain.

The DGP visited FOBs where he interacted with personnel of different forces. The DGP emphasized the importance of coordination, and proactive measures to thwart any attempts by terrorists to disrupt peace in the region.

Instructions were issued to maintain a high degree of vigil during cross country operations and along fault lines. All ranks were advised to continue fostering public outreach to gather actionable intelligence and prevent any misinformation by anti-social elements.

During the visit, the DGP commended the personnel for their dedication and urged them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and operational discipline.
