GDC Samba signs MoU with GLDMDC Hiranagar

Jammu, Dec 30: In a significant step towards fostering research, innovation, and cultural and sports exchange, SPPND GDC Samba has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Government GLDM Degree College Hiranagar.
The collaboration aims to leverage each institution’s expertise, build stronger synergies, and achieve shared objectives for the overall academic growth of both colleges. The MOU was formalized during a ceremony attended by senior faculty members from both institutions. The signatories included Professor (Dr.) Twinkle Suri, Principal, GDC Samba, and Professor (Dr.) Pragya Khanna, Principal, Government GLDM Degree College Hiranagar. Dr. Twinkle Suri emphasized that the MOU between these two regional colleges will strengthen institutional frameworks in innovation, sports, culture, and holistic development. She highlighted that this partnership is a step towards broadening opportunities for students and faculty, enabling them to learn and grow together.
She further added that this cooperative initiative is a testament to the commitment to creating a robust academic ecosystem. Professor (Dr.) Pragya Khanna noted that the collaboration would open new avenues for both colleges by fostering the exchange of knowledge and resources. She emphasized that this partnership, driven by the Innovation and Incubation Cell, as well as the Cultural and Sports Departments of both colleges, would inspire further initiatives in these areas. The program’s proceedings were conducted by Ms. Babita Kumari, Assistant Professor of Zoology.
