Srinagar, Dec 29: Apni Party senior leader and media advisor, Farooq Andrabi on Sunday expressed concern over the absence of a dialysis centre in Chadoora.
In a statement issued here, he voiced anguish over the lack of necessary facilities at the local hospital, saying, “In Chadoora, we have a so-called Sub-District Hospital (SDH), which technically operates as a Community Health Centre (CHC) and lacks adequate facilities for patients.”
Andabi said the government recently allocated several dialysis centres in Budgam district, but none in Chadoora, even though the administration had officially announced the allocation of a dialysis centre here one and a half years ago. “Despite being one of the largest constituencies in terms of population, Chadoora is struggling with a lack of adequate medical facilities for its residents,” he said.
The Apni Party leader urged the government to allocate a dialysis centre for Chadoora and ensure the required healthcare facilities at the hospital.
