Varanasi, Dec 24: Emphasising that modern education must reach every segment of society to ensure the progress and prosperity of all, the Lieutenant Governor highlighted the crucial role of Science and Technology in shaping a brighter future for India.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha was addressing the Annual Day Function of JS Group of Institutions at Varanasi. In his address, he congratulated the management, teachers, students, and everyone associated with the institution.
“Education is a process of self-discovery. It is the art of sculpting individuality. Education not only imparts specific skills and knowledge but also nurtures latent intellectual, artistic, and humanitarian abilities,” said the Lieutenant Governor.
He urged the teaching community to mentor students and guide them in harnessing their inherent potential, enabling them to contribute to nation-building and societal development.
The Lieutenant Governor also spoke about the transformative changes taking place across various sectors, including education, industry, and technology, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He stressed, “Today’s classrooms will shape tomorrow’s factories. It is the responsibility of educational institutions to collaborate with industries and prepare smart professionals for the smart factories of the future.”
On the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor commended the contributions of JS Group of Institutions to the education sector and also inaugurated the Administrative Block of JS Public School, Sadhoganj, Varanasi.
