Indian Knowledge System (IKS) is inclusive and has been focussed on the cosmic good from the beginning of life on earth. With the process of evolution gradually taking new leaps the scientific principles have vindicated the effectiveness of the IKS. India has always been on the forefront of upholding humanity. It embraces all the humanity and all life forms besides the inanimate things in the world as the creations of the Divine meant to make life well meaning by dedicating it to achieve new horizons of cosmic consciousness. So that the secrets of nature are decoded to make the life worth living. There was a time when the thrust on the production and then attraction towards materialism fascinated the nations of the world. But this trend gradually started showing decline with the end of imperialism and then subsequent decline after World War II. Then there was the time of globalisation and the open markets that erased the boundaries and nations were reduced to mere entities that became closer with the new trends in the economic order. But that too turned short lived as the stress and anxiety engulfed the humans in this fast market driven social set up. People ended in stress and mental health issues. As the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) reduced humans to machines by attending and depending upon machines. It made people and the nations to seek relief in the Indian Knowledge System(IKS). And the solution they got from it was the yoga, It led to the defreezing of the mind, body and soul among people. It introduced the nations towards the natural healing process that was not based on the medicines but the utilisation of the internal healing capacities. The curing properties of the yoga have been upheld by the World health Organisation(WHO).On the International Yoga Day WHO highlighted the contributions of yoga for health and well-being.United Nations has universalied this aspect of the yoga for the global well-being and now to make it universal it has proclaimed 21st December as the World Meditation Day by recognising the right of all human beings to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health. As per the WHO, meditation can be a powerful self-care tool to support treatment and enhance overall well-being, particularly in managing symptoms of anxiety. Incorporating mindfulness meditation into your daily routine, even for just a few minutes, can help you achieve a sense of calm and focus. It has integrated the meditation that is the extension of the healing effects of the yoga with the Sustainable Development Goals(SDG’s).That is why the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development underlines health and well-being as central towards achieving SDG’s.Good Health and Well-being that is the third goal focuses on the healthy lives and promotion of well –being for the all age groups. It addresses the challenges such as maternal and child health, communicable and non-communicable diseases, and access to essential medicines and vaccines. One thing is clear that ultimately the Indian traditional wellness technique based on the realisation of the human consciousness by integrating it with the cosmic consciousness has guided the humanity to live in harmony with self and the nature. It has taught the importance of internalising the integrality of cosmic Divinity with the human existence by erasing the boundaries between the Divinity and humanity. That is why the Raj Rishi of India Sri Aurobindo who gave the cosmic key for self realisation with his Integral Yoga has said that “All Life is Divine.”
