Srinagar, Sept 25: J&K Congress Chief Tariq Hameed Karra today said that the manifesto of the party including restoration of Statehood, land and job rights has generated favorable vote towards the party.
“Congress party is competing strongly with the BJP in Jammu and Kashmir, generating enthusiasm among voters. Campaigning focused on the need for statehood, including land and job rights, and addressing concerns about identity and dignity,” he said.
He also added that sentiment in J&K reflects anger over the perceived unconstitutional removal of statehood. (KNS)
