Srinagar, Sep 01: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah on Sunday welcomed several People’s Democratic Party leaders into the party.
Among those who joined the party include DDC Khag Molvi Nisar Ahmad and DDC Soibug Fayaz Ahmad, the NC said in a statement, adding that the joining was facilitated by In-Charge of the Khag Constituency, Saif Ud Din Bhat.
Adv Aftab Ahmad and VP District Budgam, Muhammad Ashraf Lone were present at the occasion.
“Dr Farooq warmly welcomed the new entrants into the party fold, expressing his hope that they will help expand the party’s presence in the constituency and work towards achieving the vision and mission outlined in the party’s manifesto,”the statement said.
