Usman Majid urges B’pora admin to ensure smooth facilities for Khale Chan Ajasi Urs

Bandipora, Aug 26: Former Minister and MLA Bandipora Usman Majid here on Monday has urged Bandipora District administration to implement a foolproof mechanism to facilitate devotees during the annual Urs of Sufi Poet Abdul Khaliq Najjar, Urf Khale Sabe Chan Ajasi, at the Ajas shrine in Bandipora.
In a statement, Majid emphasized that the revered shrine is a focal point of faith for millions. During the Urs, the number of devotees visiting the shrine increases significantly, making it crucial for the district administrations to ensure that visitors do not face any difficulties.
He stressed that the administration is obligated to provide round-the-clock transport facilities, drinking water, and electricity to ensure a hassle-free observance of the Urs.
