President Jammu Kashmir United Movement (JKUM) and Former MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar led delegation on Wednesday called on Deputy Commissioner DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir at Mini Secretariat, here.
During the meeting, several important issues were raised by the delegation comprising of people from different walks of life including PRI representatives, senior citizens and civil society members
They apprised the DC of various developmental issues ranging from improved healthcare facilities, environmental protection, enhanced administrative services, employment opportunities, water supply, infrastructure development and other issues of public importance of Ganderbal district and sought his intervention in resolving the same.
While interacting with the members of the delegation, the DC maintained that the Government is committed to reaching out to the people with a prompt public service delivery mechanism to resolve their issues and meet their developmental needs.
He assured the delegation that the issues raised by them will be reviewed periodically to assess the progress.
