Jammu, Aug 23: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) will organize its flagship outreach and awareness program, Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, on August 27, 2024, at two venues simultaneously: Hotel Trinetar, Patnitop in Udhampur, and the National Institute of SowaRigpa, Leh in Ladakh.
The event, spearheaded by Provident Fund Commissioner Rizwan Uddin, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, Jammu and Ladakh, will focus on addressing grievances and enhancing awareness about the EPFO’s social security schemes. The program aims to educate workers and employers on topics like grievance filing through EPFiGMS, CPGRAMS, and other portals, digital services, fraud prevention, and the rights of employees concerning their employers.
Subscribers, pensioners, employers, and industry representatives are encouraged to actively participate. District Nodal Officers Devinder Singh, Harshit Pathak, and Sandeep Kumar will oversee the proceedings in their respective locations.
The program will cover key EPFO initiatives such as e-nomination, online claim filing, UAN activation, and KYC updates. A special pension help desk will also be set up to address pension-related issues on the spot.
The event is expected to foster increased participation and awareness among stakeholders in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh regarding the EPFO’s services and benefits, including the Employees’ Pension Scheme and Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme.
