9th International Yoga Day celebration; Anantnag roars silently with Yogic asanas

Anantnag, June 21: The Department of Youth Services & Sports on Wednesday celebrated 9th International Yoga Day with full enthusiasm. While marking it’s celebrations District Level Event was hosted at Swami VivekananadaAsharamAchabal& Wazir Bagh ( public park) in which the worthy District Development Council Chairman, worthy  District Development Commissioner Anantnag, along with District Youth Services & Sports Officer Anantnag and other dignitaries like Chief Medical Officer, and officer s of other department also took part. 
A huge number of students also participated in these International Yoga Day Celebration events and performed various Asanas. All Zonal Headquarters viz, Verinag, Qazigund, Doru, Anantnag, Bidder, Achabal, Vailoo, Bhijbehra, Ashmuqam, Srigufwara, Mattan also celebrated the 9th International Yoga Day with around 03 major venues in each Zone and in all schools including Government & Private. 
Among all these Zonal Level events Bhijbehra Zone witnessed grand Yoga Celebration with a huge participation and best demonstration in which at one Mega Event organized by Zone Bhijbehra around 1800 students were part of the event at single venue. 
It is pertaining to mention here that in almost all events PRI’s took part and a total of around 14000 took part at different venues.
