Kulgam, Dec 26: The revenue services, once conducted offline, are now conveniently accessible online, significantly altering the application experience for various services.
In Kulgam Tehsil, over 70,000 applications have been processed through online portals since their implementation.
Bilal Ahmad, Tehsildar Kulgam told Rising Kashmir that these online services are incredibly beneficial for the people. “Office visits have drastically reduced. Students and farmers can access documentation with ease from their homes.”
He said, the “Revenue Plus” platform consolidates various services like domicile certificates, Fard, Intikhabat, and mutation attestations. Another portal, “Jansugam,” allows students to submit applications for scholarships, reservation certificates, and other necessary documents, including character and unemployment certificates.
“A lot of time and convenience has been gained through online applications. Long queues and wasted time are a thing of the past. Besides it has secured online records eliminate the risk of damage or loss, as with physical documents.”
